The most important part of a YouTube video isn’t the clickable thumbnail or the intriguing title.
It isn’t even the time of day that you post or the shirt you wear… If you don’t have this one thing in check – your video won’t stick in the minds of your audience.
So what is it?
Your storytelling plays a huge role in keeping your audience members around and that’s because we all want something to relate to. If you’re giving your viewers real, raw content – they see it and they hear it.
When I say “hook” or talk about your audience – it goes deeper than that. There is someone watching that needs to hear what you have to say.
Giving your audience something to relate to is what creates impact – what you decide to show your viewers could be what keeps them going when they want to give up
